僧問：「常在生死海中沈沒者，是甚麼人？」師曰：「第二月。」僧云：「還求出也無？」師曰：「也求出離，只是無路。」僧云：「出離什麼人接得伊？」師曰：「擔鐵枷者。」

A monk asked, "What kind of person is it who is constantly submerged in the ocean of birth and death?" The Master said, "The second moon." The monk said, "Do they still seek to get out or not?" The Master said, "They also seek escape, only there is no road." The monk said, "When escaping, who can receive them?" The Master said, "One who carries an iron pillory."
