舉：「生死涅槃合成一塊。」乃拈起扇子云：「是什麼不是合成一塊？得與麼不靈利，直饒與麼也是鬼窟裏作活計。」
He cited: "'Samsāra and nirvāṇa merge into a single lump.'" He then picked up a fan and said, "What is not merged into a single lump? Being so clumsy! Even if it is so, it is still making a livelihood in a ghost cave."
