舉：「僧問雪峯：『佛未出世時如何？』峯橫案拄杖而坐。」師云：「常。」

[Yunmen] brought up [the following]: "A monk asked Xuefeng, 'What was it like before the Buddha appeared in the world?' Xuefeng sat horizontally resting on his staff." The Master said, "Constantly."
