一日云：「古人道：『一句合頭語，萬劫繫驢橛。』作麼生明得免此過？」代云：「趙州石橋，嘉州大像。」

One day he said, "An ancient said, 'A single matching phrase is a donkey-tethering stake for ten thousand kalpas.' How do you understand it so as to avoid this fault?" Answering on their behalf, he said, "The stone bridge of Zhaozhou, the great statue of Jiazhou."
