或云：「爾多年在叢林裏。」乃舉手便放下云：「向後不得與麼。」代云：「若與麼，便成辜負和尚。」

Or he said, "You have been in the monasteries for many years." He then raised his hand, lowered it immediately, and said, "Hereafter you must not be like this." Answering on their behalf, he said, "If it were like this, it would just let down the Upādhyāya."
