一日云：「今日十五入夏也，寒山子作麼生？」代云：「和尚問寒山，學人對拾得。」
One day he said, "Today is the fifteenth, the entry into the summer [retreat]. What about Master Hanshan?" Answering on their behalf, he said, "The upādhyāya asks about Hanshan; the student answers with Shide."
