因齋次，指白[茲/瓦]器云：「這箇知有超佛越祖之談。」代云：「五九四十五。」又云：「和尚自喫飯。」

During a meal, he pointed to a white porcelain vessel and said, "This one knows there is talk of going beyond the Buddhas and transcending the Patriarchs." Answering on their behalf, he said, "Five times nine is forty-five." He also said, "The upādhyāya eats his own rice."
