一日云：「我每日共爾葛藤不能到夜，如今在這裏置將一問來。」代云：「秖恐和尚不答。」

One day he said, "My daily entanglements with you cannot go on until night. Now, right here, present a question!" Answering on their behalf, he said, "I only fear the upādhyāya will not answer."
