或云：「是爾諸人行，却須知有入頭路。還有人道得麼？出來道看。」代云：「也不得辜負和尚。」
On another occasion he said, "You people travel, yet you must know there is an entry path. Can anyone speak of it? Come out and speak!" Answering on their behalf, he said, "One must also not fail the upādhyāya."
