師云：「釋迦老子叫喚也。」時有僧問：「未審釋迦老子叫喚作麼？」師云：「爾與麼驢年夢見麼？」代云：「今日喫飯甚是遲。」

The Master said: "Old Śākya is calling out!" Then a monk asked: "I do not know, what is Old Śākya calling out for?" The Master said: "In what year of the donkey would you dream of such a thing?" Answering on their behalf, he said: "Today we eat very late."
