師在餬餅寮喫茶云：「不向汝道罪過。」無對。復云：「第一須忌火。」便起去。代云：「大眾不得辜負和尚。」

The Master was drinking tea in the sesame-cake kitchen and said: "I will not say to you that it is an offense." There was no response. He added: "Above all, one must beware of fire." He then got up and left. Answering on their behalf, he said: "The great assembly must not fail the upādhyāya."
