或云：「折半列三針筒，鼻孔在什麼處，與我箇箇拈出來看。」代云：「上中下。」

Or he would say, "Break it in half and array the three needle-tubes; where are the nostrils? Bring them out one by one for me to see!" Answering on their behalf, he said, "Upper, middle, lower."
