師或云：「解患非患明得了，作麼生是眼？」代云：「晝見日，夜見星。」

The Master would sometimes say, "Once you understand that resolving affliction is not affliction, what is the eye?" Answering on their behalf, he said, "By day one sees the sun; by night one sees the stars."
