因僧侍立次，師云：「不問有言，不問無言，儞作麼生道？」僧無語。師云：「儞問我。」僧便問，師喚小師某甲，小師應喏，師云：「儞又得箇師弟也。」

While a monk was standing in attendance, the Master said, "Not asking about having words, not asking about having no words—what do you say?" The monk was speechless. The Master said, "You ask me." The monk then asked. The Master called to a novice monk so-and-so. The novice responded, "Yes?" The Master said, "You have got yourself another junior fellow student!"
