問：「聲色兩字，甚麼人透得？」師却謂眾云：「諸上座且道，這箇僧，還透得也未？若會此僧問處，透聲色也不難。」

He asked, "Who can penetrate the two words 'sound and form'?" The Master turned and said to the assembly, "Tell me, sthaviras, has this monk penetrated them yet or not? If you understand the place of this monk's question, penetrating sound and form is not difficult either."
