師云：「這箇是三玄底頌，作麼生是三玄底旨趣？直教決擇分明，莫只麼望空裏妄解，道我曾親近和尚來，與我說了。脫空妄語，誑諕他人，喫鐵棒有日，莫言不道。子細子細，珍重。」

"The Master said: "These are the verses on the three mysteries. What is the import of the three mysteries? You must make a distinct and clear determination; do not simply engage in false interpretations directed toward empty space, saying, 'I once drew near to the Venerable, and he explained it to me.' Deceptive and false words mislead and intimidate others; the day will come when you taste the iron staff—do not say I did not warn you. Be careful, be careful! Take care."
