閩王令使送交床與雪峯，僧問和尚：「受大王如此供養，將何答報？」峯以兩手托地云：「輕打我，輕打我。」
The King of Min sent an envoy with a folding chair for Xuefeng. A monk asked the Venerable: "Having received such an offering from the Great King, how will you repay it?" Xuefeng placed both hands on the ground and said: "Beat me lightly, beat me lightly."
