百丈當初侍馬師，對師捲簟更無私，人天不測為奇特，恰是攢鵶捉鳳兒，上士瞥然全體現，太陽出照嶽峰低。

"Baizhang originally attended Master Ma; / Facing the master, rolling up the mat, he was utterly selfless. / Humans and devas could not fathom it, taking it as extraordinary, / Just like crows clustering to catch a young phoenix. / The superior person in a flash appears with his entire body; / The sun comes forth and shines, and the mountain peaks are low."
