南泉、麻谷、歸宗同去禮拜忠國師，泉於地上畫一圓相，云：「道得即去。」歸宗於圓相中坐，麻谷便作女人拜，泉云：「恁麼則不去也。」宗云：「是什麼心行？」

Nanquan, Magu, and Guizong went together to pay homage to National Teacher Zhong. Nanquan drew a circle on the ground and said, "If you can speak, we will go." Guizong sat down inside the circle; Magu then bowed like a woman. Nanquan said, "If so, we shall not go." Guizong said, "What kind of mind is this?"
