「東風纔動，百卉抽條，和氣昇天，陰陽合運，雷興雨澍，掣鼓奪旗，不傷物義，誰當先手？有底在什麼處？有麼有麼？」代云：「讓即有餘。」

"As soon as the east wind stirs, the hundred plants put forth shoots; harmonious energy rises to heaven, yin and yang operate together. Thunder rouses and rain pours; wresting the drum and seizing the banner, without harming the nature of things, who takes the lead? Where is the one who has it? Is there any? Is there any?" Replacing [the original words], he said, "Yielding leaves a surplus."
