「又有山人多學，師問：『識地否？』云：『不敢。』師曰：『殿前脚下是什麼地？』」代云：「但一隻脚，蹈地云乾。」

"There was also a hermit who had studied extensively. The Master asked, 'Do you recognize the ground (or: geomancy)?' He said, 'I would not presume.' The Master said, 'What ground is this beneath your feet in front of the hall?'" Replacing [the original words], he said, "With just one foot, stamping the ground, he would say, 'Dry.'"
