「廬山偃臺和尚，見保慶菴童子織草鞋，云：『與我打一緉得麼？』童子云：『和尚脚大小？』師翹起脚。」代云：「只瞞得童子。」

"Master Yantai of Mount Lu saw a boy from Baoqing Hermitage weaving straw sandals and said: 'Could you make a pair for me?' The boy said: 'What is the size of the Venerable's feet?' The Master raised his foot." Replacing [the boy's words], he said: "You can only deceive a boy."
