2.46

靈雲見桃花悟道，有頌：「三十年來尋劍客，幾迴葉落又抽枝，自從一見桃花後，直至如今更不疑。」舉似玄沙，沙云：「諦當甚諦當，敢保老兄未徹在。」

Lingyun attained enlightenment upon seeing peach blossoms and had a verse:
'For thirty years I have sought a swordsman; / How many times have leaves fallen and branches sprouted again?
Ever since seeing the peach blossoms once, / Right down to the present, I doubt no more.'
He brought it to Xuansha, who said, "Thoroughly accurate, exceedingly accurate; but I dare guarantee that you, elder brother, have not yet penetrated through."
