2.60

普化喫生菜，臨際云：「普化大似一頭驢。」化便拓地作驢鳴。濟云：「直歲與他細抹草料。」著化云：「少室人不識，金陵又再來，臨際一隻眼，到處為人開。」

Puhua was eating raw vegetables. Linji said, "Puhua looks very much like a donkey."
Puhua then got down on the ground and brayed like a donkey.
Linji said, "Director of affairs, provide him with finely chopped fodder."
Puhua said: "The man of Shaoshi is not recognized; / To Jinling he comes again. / Linji has a single eye, / Opening it everywhere for people."
