保壽開堂，三聖推出一僧，壽便打，聖云：「爾恁麼為人，瞎却鎮州一城人眼去在。」壽擲下拄杖歸方丈。

Baoshou opened the hall. Sansheng pushed forward a monk. Baoshou struck him. Sansheng said, "Acting for people like this, you will blind the eyes of everyone in the whole city of Zhenzhou!" Baoshou threw down his staff and returned to the abbot's quarters.
