If you say Fenyang actually had this record, the entire lineage of Linji is swept clean to the ground; if you say Fenyang actually had no such record, the entire lineage of Linji is swept clean to the ground. But tell me, how will you enter Fenyang's gate and see Fenyang's person? Go straight ahead on level ground!
