墨黲襴衫誰辨別，袖頭打領頗相宜，趙州曾示七斤重，洞上全提竇八機。溢目不粧山水色，嚴身堪作歲寒期，縱橫著在閻浮世，翻笑霜風遼亂吹。

Who can distinguish a robe of dark and drab black? / With a collar fashioned at the sleeve-head, it fits quite well. / Zhaozhou once pointed to [a weight of] seven jin; / the Dongshan lineage wholly brought forth the dynamic of Dou Ba. / Filling the eyes without adorning the colours of mountains and waters, / it clothes the body well suited for the season of bitter cold. / Worn freely throughout this world of Jambudvīpa, / in turn I laugh at the frosty wind blowing in scattered confusion.
