一幅素繒，丹青模勒，謂吾之真，乃吾之賊。吾真匪狀，吾貌匪揚，夢電光陰五十一，桑梓玉山俗姓章。

A single roll of plain silk, / painted with vermilion and azure— / to call it my true [likeness] / is rather a thief of me. / My true nature cannot be depicted; / my appearance is not to be praised. / Time like a dream or lightning: fifty-one years; / native home: Yushan; secular surname: Zhang.
