洪井分飛早二年，林間仕路兩相懸，近聞北闕明君詔，
又領江西漕使權。列郡望風皆草偃，
故人高枕得雲眠，馬塵未卜趨何日，預把音書作信傳。

Two years have already passed since our parting at the Hong Well;
Between the forest and the official path, both are far apart.
Recently hearing the luminous monarch's decree from the northern palace,
You once again take up authority as the Jiangxi Fiscal Commissioner.
The arrayed commanderies, watching the wind, all bend like grass;
An old friend on a high pillow can sleep in the clouds.
Unsure on which day my horse's dust will hasten [to greet you],
I send this letter in advance as a token of my word.
