入院上堂，僧問：「如何是黃龍境？」師云：「昨日方到此，未曾子細看。」進云：「如何是境中人？」師云：「長者長，短者短。」

Ascending the hall upon entering the monastery, a monk asked: "What is the realm of Huanglong?" The master said: "I arrived here only yesterday and have not yet looked closely." [The monk] advanced and said: "Who is the person within the realm?" The master said: "What is long is long; what is short is short."
