上堂云：「於三七日中，思惟如是事，釋迦老子半夜逾城直往雪山，早是漏逗不少，更思惟箇什麼？」便下座。

Ascending the hall, [the Master] said: "'For three times seven days, pondering such matters'—old Śākyamuni leapt over the city walls in the middle of the night and went straight to the Snowy Mountains; already he made no small slip-up. What more was there to ponder?" He then stepped down from the seat.
