中秋上堂云：「中秋月中秋月，古今盡謂尋常別，別不別，皎皎清光遍大千，任從天下紜紜說。」

On Mid-Autumn, ascending the hall, he said: / "Mid-Autumn moon, Mid-Autumn moon! / Past and present all call it uniquely different. / Different or not different, / Its brilliant, pure light pervades the great thousand worlds, / Leaving the world to talk in clamour as it will."
