苦霧罩庭軒，悲雲鎖暮天，師歸真淨界，影挂月孤圓，
去不去兮若之夢，來不來兮誰後先，
誰後先，閻浮樹在海南邊。

Bitter fog covers the courtyard eaves, / Mournful clouds lock the twilight sky. / The master has returned to the realm of true purity; / His shadow hangs as a solitary, full moon. / Going or not going, alas, like a dream! / Coming or not coming, alas, who is first and who is last? / Who is first and who is last? / The jambu tree is south of the sea.
