多時欲寫天邊雁，毛色觀來苦未全，號叫不妨知節令，
養成飛去有何難。雁雁雁塔當初占，
古縱禪禪入理深淵，無形無狀千難萬難，
後生晚長心堅石穿。

For a long time I wished to depict the geese at the edge of the sky, / But looking at their plumage, it was sadly not yet complete. / Their calling does not hinder knowing the seasons; / Once reared, what difficulty is there in flying away? / The Pagoda of the Geese was originally divined, / Ancient footprints of Chan delve deep into the abyss of principle. / Formless and shapeless, ten thousand difficulties and thousand obstacles; / In late-born youths, the mind is firm, piercing through stone.
