上堂云：「無法可說是名說法，夜月嚴凝霜天凜冽，池裏烏龜凍得成鼈，更說兩句舌頭成鐵。」

Ascending the hall, he said: "There is no Dharma to be spoken: this is called expounding the Dharma. The night moon is austere and frozen; the frosty sky is piercingly cold. In the pond, the terrapin is frozen into a soft-shelled turtle. If I speak two more phrases, my tongue will turn to iron."
