Ascending the hall upon returning to the new Sangha Hall, he said: "Today is the first day of the tenth month; the newly constructed Cloud Hall is completed. The holy assembly has already found peaceful dwelling; its elegance completely surpasses olden days. When making use of it within, in all matters cherish one another, wishing to preserve the family style of the ancient Buddhas, so the three realms of existence and the four debts of gratitude gain benefit, celebration, and repentance. Separately, there is a report submitted with names inscribed on stone. I venture to urge all dānapatis far and near to keep in mind mahāprajñāpāramitā." Suppose someone suddenly comes forth and says, "The Elder makes a fine composition." Then he said: "Bah! Coming from Baiyun's mouth, who dares say it is not good?"
