3.61

舉：「僧問風穴：『語默涉離微，如何通不犯？』穴云：『常憶江南三月裏，鷓鴣啼處百華鮮。』曾有僧問雪竇，對他道：『劈腹剜心，又且如何？』」復云：「因風吹火，別是一家；傷鼈恕龜，必應有主。」

He cited: "A monk asked Fengxue, 'Speech and silence involve transcendence and subtlety; how can one penetrate without transgression?' Fengxue said, 'I always remember the third month south of the river, / Where the partridges cry and a hundred flowers are fresh.' A monk once asked Xuedou, and I said to him, 'Cleaving the belly and gouging out the heart—how about that then?'" He added, "Blowing on the fire along with the wind is another household; pitying the turtle while harming the softshell turtle must certainly have an owner."
