3.63

舉：「僧問智門和尚：『如何是般若體？』云：『蚌含明月。』僧云：『如何是般若用？』云：『兔子懷胎。』」師云：「非唯把定世界，亦乃安貼邦家。若善能參詳，便請丹霄獨步。」

He cited: "A monk asked Upādhyāya Zhimen, 'What is the substance of prajñā?' Zhimen said, 'The clam conceals the bright moon.' The monk said, 'What is the function of prajñā?' Zhimen said, 'The rabbit conceives.'" The Master said, "Not only holding the world firm, but also pacifying the nation. If you are skilled at investigating this, then please stride alone across the red dawn."
