保福在疾，問僧：「我與儞相識年深，有何名方妙藥相救？」僧云：「甚有，聞說和尚不解忌口。」別云：「只恐難為和尚。」

Baofu was ill and asked a monk, "You and I have known each other for many years; what famous prescription or wondrous medicine do you have to save me?" The monk said, "I have plenty, but I have heard that the upādhyāya does not know how to observe dietary taboos." In an alternative [the Master] said, "I only fear it would be difficult for the upādhyāya."
