韶山勘僧云：「莫便是多口。」白頭因云：「不敢。」韶云：「多少口。」云：「遍身是。」韶云：「大小二事向甚處出？」云：「韶山口裏。」別云：「從來疑著韶山。」

Shaoshan examined a monk, saying, "Could it be that you are 'Many-Mouths'?" Baidou Yin said, "I would not dare." Shaoshan said, "How many mouths?" He said, "My whole body is one." Shaoshan said, "Where do the two matters of large and small come out from?" He said, "From Shaoshan's mouth." Alternatively: "I have always doubted Shaoshan."
