氷之有光非珠澄徹，山之有光非玉凝潔，若氷大師，殊彼清絕。殊兮必群，絕兮可覩，一字根極，三千頂住。乍曰義龍，或稱律虎，相對風規分不分，金田獨步君看取。

Ice having luster is not the clarity of a pearl; / a mountain having luster is not the congealed purity of jade. / Great Master Ruobing / is distinct from that pure transcendence. / Being distinct, he must gather crowds; / transcendent, he can be beheld. / A single character is the root and summit; / three thousand topknots abide. / Now called a dragon of doctrine, / now praised as a tiger of Vinaya. / Facing each other, whether their style is divided or not, / behold him walking alone in the Golden Field!
