上下三指，彼此七馬，拈華未曾微笑。何也？石謂玉兮器必分，水凌虛兮月非下，不知誰是傍觀者。

Above and below, three fingers; / this and that, seven horses. / Twirling the flower, he never smiled. Why? / If stone is called jade, vessels must be divided; / if water rises into emptiness, the moon does not descend. / I know not who the bystander is.
