5.12

君不見，鷲峯勝集，百萬　茫茫等閑過，壞衲之外皆清墮。
君又不見，熊嶺孤運，歲月　索索艱難生，
深雪之中有一箇。宛轉流落千餘年，危分嶮布空平闐，
辯龍蛇兮眼何正，擒虎兕兮機不全。
石窓四顧滄溟窄，寥寥不許白雲白，
掣斷金鎖天麒麟，高舉鐵鞭擊三百。猶輕舍，爭知也，
別有七星光鬪射，風前把欲贈行人，
將報不平繞天下。

Have you not seen: / The magnificent assembly on Gṛdhrakūṭa—millions passed by in vain and leisure; / Beyond worn-out patch-robes, all fell into purity. / Have you not seen again: / The solitary journey on Bear Ridge—the years passed in harsh hardship; / Amidst the deep snow, there was a single one. / Meandering and wandering for over a thousand years, / Perilous divides and steep cliffs spread out, empty and flat. / Discerning dragons from snakes, how upright is the eye? / Capturing tigers and wild bovines, the dynamic is not complete. / Looking around the stone window in all four directions, the vast ocean is narrow; / Aloof, he does not permit white clouds to be white. / Snapping the golden lock, the heavenly qilin / Raises high the iron whip to strike three hundred times. / Still lightly relinquishing it, how can one know? / Separately, there is the light of the seven stars clashing and shooting; / Held before the wind, about to be gifted to the traveler, / To redress injustice throughout the world.
