牛頭峯頂鎖重雲，獨坐寥寥寄此身，百鳥不來春又過，
不知誰是到庵人。

Atop Oxhead Peak, locked in layers of clouds,
Sitting alone, desolate, lodging this body.
The hundred birds no longer come, and spring passes again;
I wonder who it is that reaches the hermitage.
