踞地磐空勢未休，爪牙何必競時流，天教生在千峯上，
不得雲擎也出頭。

Crouching on the earth, occupying space, its momentum never halts;
Why must claws and fangs compete with worldly trends?
Heaven decreed that it be born atop a thousand peaks;
Even without clouds bearing it up, its head emerges.
