5.24

深巖寂寂披蘭芷，碧霧紅霞映流水，空生別我期未期，
絕域殊方擬輕擬。堪笑歸嶺南，奔馳
何鄙彼，危急亂拋下，盡云提不起。伊予本自不將來，
相送奚憑掛唇齒。旻禪客，旻禪客，師子子，
應須落落存終始。君不見，古人有言兮，
撲碎驪龍明月珠。大丈夫，到如此，行行不用頻彈指。

In deep crags, silent and quiet, clad in orchids and angelica; / Azure mists and rosy clouds reflect the flowing water. / Subhūti bids me farewell, uncertain of when to return; / Distant domains and strange regions he lightly contemplates. / Laughable it is, returning south of the Ridge, scurrying about— / How vile that was! / In desperate crisis, wildly casting it down, / All say they cannot lift it up. / As for me, originally I did not bring anything; / In seeing you off, what reliance is there to hang upon lips and teeth? / Chan guest Min, Chan guest Min, / Son of a lion! / You must be loftily detached, maintaining the end and the beginning. / Have you not seen: / The ancients had a saying: / 'Smash to pieces the black dragon's moonlit pearl!' / A great hero, arriving at this state— / Going, going, no need to snap fingers repeatedly.
