5.32

吳山碧，楚江碧，吳楚悠悠興何極，一尋寒木自為隣，
三事秋雲更誰識。乾坤不是無知己，
玉石休云辯真偽，待時沽譽漫淪生，晦跡韜光亦何意。
春風急，春風急，八駿奔馳追不及，
南北東西把定時，為君直上孤峯立（觀氣分枝，非獨古有，誠之言也）。

The mountains of Wu are azure, the river of Chu is azure; / Wu and Chu stretch on endlessly—what limit to the inspiration? / An eight-foot cold tree is neighbour to oneself; / Three items of autumn clouds—who else recognises them? / Heaven and earth are not without an intimate friend; / As for jade and stone, do not say one must distinguish real from fake. / Waiting for the times to buy fame, drifting through life in vain; / Hiding one's traces and concealing one's light—what meaning is there in that either? / The spring wind is swift, the spring wind is swift; / The eight steeds gallop, impossible to overtake. / When south, north, east, and west are held firm, / For you, I stand directly atop the solitary peak. / (Discerning the qi and dividing the branches—this is not unique to antiquity; these are truly words of sincerity.)
