5.54

寶非寶，日杲杲，上上機，無處討。赤水求來何太狂，
荊山覓得苦相惱，不惱不狂排夜光，險惡道中為津梁。

Treasure is not treasure; the sun is bright and clear.
The supreme capacity is nowhere to be sought.
To seek it at the Red River—how exceedingly wild!
To find it at Mount Jing—how bitterly troublesome!
Neither troubled nor wild, it dispels the night's darkness,
Serving as a ford and a bridge on the treacherous and evil paths.
