垂垂甘自養衰殘，度歲無人到竹關，何幸文星枉嘉什，
殷勤相喚出層山。
Frail and declining, I am content to nurse my withered remnant; / As the year passes, no one arrives at my bamboo gate. / How fortunate that a literary star deigns to send fine verses, / Attentively calling me forth from the layered mountains!
