聚散非常準，古今亦標格，如何無事人，還似未歸客。
秋風生群林，野水資寒色，誰兮謝寸陰，
觀彼青山白。沖禪行復行，五葉待時折。

Gathering and parting have no fixed measure; / Past and present also establish this pattern. / Why should a person of no affairs / Still resemble a traveller who has not returned home? / Autumn winds arise among the grove of trees; / Wilderness waters add a cold hue. / Who is it that excuses themselves from every inch of time, / And contemplates that white upon the green mountains? / Chan practitioner Chong, journey on and journey on; / The five petals await the season to unfold.
